COLORANT FOR ROAD MARKING MATERIAL AND PAINT COMPOSITION FOR ROAD MARKING MATERIAL PRODUCED BY USING COLORANT FOR ROAD MARKING MATERIAL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorant for a road marking material, free from a harmful element, having an excellent coloring power, hiding power, lightfastness and heat resistance and capable of improving the fluidity of a paint for a road marking material and to provide a paint for the road marking material produced by using the colorant for the road marking material. PSOLUTION: The colorant for a road marking material is composed of a composite particle powder obtained by coating the particle surface of an inorganic particle with a surface-modifying agent, attaching an organic pigment to the surface of the layer of the surface-modifying agent, and applying a fluidizing agent such as a polyolefin wax and/or a plasticizer such as a phthalic acid ester compound to the surface of the composite particle.
