PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely design a plurality of types of component parts which compose a piece of furniture.;SOLUTION: A provided device creates data which represents a unit to be used for designing a piece of furniture. The data includes: material space data which defines positions of six faces of a three-dimensional material space representing a rectangular parallelepiped space that externally touches material on the basis of a rectangular parallelepiped three-dimensional part space that externally touches parts to which the material belongs; part space data which defines positions of six faces of the three-dimensional part space representing the rectangular parallelepiped space that externally touches the parts on the basis of a three-dimensional unit space representing a rectangular parallelepiped space defined for a unit to which the parts belong; and unit space data which defines positions of six faces of the three-dimensional unit space representing the rectangular parallelepiped space enveloping the unit on the basis of a three-dimensional skeleton cell space representing a rectangular parallelepiped space defined in a frame body of a skeleton unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
