PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which uses a display screen to support design of knockdown storage furniture, made by assembling a plurality of assembling units, in accordance with a preference of a user in a manner that shortens time required for completing the design thereof by showing only selectable assembling units on the display screen.;SOLUTION: A design support system for knockdown storage furniture comprises: installation space frame display means which displays an installation space frame 18 corresponding to an area to install furniture therein on a display screen on the basis of furniture installation location information; assembling unit display means which displays images of assembling units on a display section 20 on the basis of the furniture installation location information; assembling unit transfer means which transfers the image of the assembling unit, selected by an operator from the images of the assembling units displayed on the display section 20, into the installation space frame 18 as indicated by an arrow in a figure; and display restriction means which restricts the images of the assembling unit to be displayed on the display section 20 to only those that can be installed in a space left empty in the installation space frame 18 at the time.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
