It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for efficiently proliferating intestinal epithelium-derived somatic stem cells. A method for producing intestinal epithelium-derived somatic stem cells, comprising the following steps (A) and (B): (A) In a cell group containing cells constituting the intestinal epithelium, the G0 phase or the G1 phase is passed to the S phase.
