A molten salt bath used for dissolving WC-Co cemented carbide, which is a molten salt bath in which molten alkali nitrate is uniformly melted in molten alkali chloride, and MCl (M = M = At least two selected from the group of Li, Na, K) are selected, and at least one selected from the group of NNO3 (N = Li, Na, K) is selected as the alkali nitrate. 1 mol% or more, desirably 1 to 20 mol% of two or more kinds of alkali chloride selected from the group of MCl (M = Li, Na, K) is contained, and 99 to 80 mol% of alkali nitrate is contained. This molten salt bath melts the WC-Co cemented carbide at a low temperature, reduces corrosion damage of the reaction plant vessel used for melting the WC-Co cemented carbide, and realizes industrial recovery of tungsten and cobalt.
