PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing porous membranes using block copolymers that self-assemble into nanostructures, which does not require removal of one of the blocks after a nanostructure is formed.;SOLUTION: A method for preparing a porous membrane involves: hybrid casting a solution of a diblock copolymer represented by formula (I), which may self-assemble into a cylindrical morphology, to obtain a thin film; evaporating some of solvent from the thin film; and coagulating the resulting film in a bath containing nonsolvent or poor solvent for the block copolymer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
