PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a polysaccharide solid which suppresses carbon disulfide emission, has a less environmental load, and is excellent in productivity, and also to provide a polysaccharide solid, a cord, a fiber-rubber composite, a film-rubber composite, and a tire in which gas component is not included and which have good physical properties.SOLUTION: A production method for a polysaccharide solid is the one in which polysaccharide is solidified by making polysaccharide dissolved solution formed by dissolving a polysaccharide raw material into liquid containing ionic liquid contact with solidified liquid. The polysaccharide dissolved solution is defoamed under normal pressure or under pressure and then is made to contact with the solidified liquid. The polysaccharide solid is produced using the production method for the polysaccharide solid.
