PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OLT that can reboot after making a proper system setting state up-to-date at the time of updating software related to an ONU.;SOLUTION: An OLT includes: first holding means for holding information on update states of software that should be installed in each accommodated ONU and software that should be installed in the OLT; and second holding means for holding information on update states of system setting information that should be set to each ONU and system setting information that should be set to the OLT. When the OLT has accepted update instructions of software or system setting information from the outside, the OLT determines which is processed preferentially, software update or system setting information update such that according to combination of information held by the first and second holding means, the system setting information will be updated and then the updated software will be validated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
