PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite tungsten oxide fine particles for forming a solar radiation shielding body, excellent in heat resistance, while keeping transmittance of visible light high and keeping transmittance of infrared rays low, and having light resistance capable of suppressing photo-discoloration, and to provide a method for producing the same, a composite tungsten oxide fine particle dispersion liquid for forming a solar radiation shielding body using the fine particles, and a solar radiation shielding body.;SOLUTION: Composite tungsten oxide fine particles for forming a solar radiation shielding body are obtained by firing mixed powder whose mixed mole ratio between tungsten and cesium is 0.33≤Cs/W≤0.37, which is mixed powder of tungstic acid powder and cesium carbonate powder, or mixed powder obtained by drying a mixture of tungstic acid powder and cesium carbonate aqueous solution, at a temperature of ≥500°C and ≤600°C under a mixed gas atmosphere of inert gas and reducing gas, and which is represented by general formula CsxWyOz (wherein, 0.30≤x/y≤0.33, 2.2≤z/y≤3.0), wherein the main phase has a crystal structure of a hexagonal system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
