PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a victim rescue support system which can be utilized without a limit of area or place, and also rapidly and efficiently locate victims' positions.SOLUTION: A plurality of portable base stations are installed at a disaster stricken area. Each of the portable base station generates position parameter information composed of a tag ID and a parameter for position estimation by communicating with an RFID tag carried by a victim via UWB-IR, and transmits the position parameter information to a positioning server. The positioning server estimates and stores a position of each RFID tag 100 on the basis of the position parameter information transmitted from the portable base station.
