PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket vending machine system capable of selling at a discount with membership privilege points for members, identifying correctly whether a purchasing action is done by a member or a non-member.;SOLUTION: In the ticket vending machine system 1, after the ticket vending machine 3 receives a payment, a reading of a membership card 5 by a card reader 33 becomes valid (ST1, ST2 and ST3). Then, the ticket vending machine 3 changes modes to a sale-for-member mode (ST7B-1), through the member authentication by a membership control server 2 (ST23). When the payment balance becomes 0 yen (ST11), the sale-for-member mode of the ticket vending machine 3 is cancelled to be returned to a normal mode (ST13). Since the ticket vending machine 3 is not left in the sale-for-member mode after the member is gone, it can be prevented that a non-member purchases a ticket at a discount price in the sale-for-member mode, as well as that a member receives membership privilege points owing to a ticket purchase by a non-member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
