The use of diatomaceous earth in the pharmaceutical industry. The present invention relates to solid pharmaceutical preparations containing diatomaceous earth (diatomite) or a mixture of a natural mineral containing diatomaceous earth as a load, in addition to the active ingredient and other optional auxiliary agents. Another objective of the invention is a method for the manufacture of such pharmaceutical preparations.
