Stunning of poultry by microwave. The present invention consists of a device and a process for the slaughter of birds that do not use electric current. This is the use of microwave radiation focused on the head of the animal through a special lens.The high concentration of radiation causes a loss of consciousness of the animal in a few seconds without generating any kind of animal stress and, thus, creating a good quality meat.
