The technical solution relates to a method of modeling the storage processes of bulk materials and apparatus for performing this method solves and correcting the mathematical model of the behavior of loose material to the real condition in bulk materials with adjustable properties and structure of the device for monitoring the behavior of bulk materials with adjustable properties under different conditions. In particular it relates to control and simulation experiments, such as the simulation of the process of storage, filling and emptying different ways. Validation storage device is demountable modular type and comprises a supporting frame (1) to which is attached a container (2) ended hopper (3) and discharge valve (4), said container (2) and the hopper (3) forms a reference area, the device has at least one humidity sensor (15) and / or at least one temperature sensor (16) and / or at least one pressure sensor (17) and / or at least one weight sensor (18), the detection zone is provided with at least one tomografickým sensor (5 ), wherein the tomographic sensors (5) are connected to tomografickému device (6), wherein the validation storage device via a control unit (12) and through tomography device (6) bidirectionally connected to the evaluation device (7).
