The invention relates to veterinary, in particular to methods for diagnostics of infectious diseases in animals. The invention is aimed at solving the task of more effective revealing of bacteria-carrying in case of cattle brucellosis in vaccinated and non-vaccinated livestock due to possibility to detect animals with latent brucellosis. The method is implemented in the following way. All animals, including young stock, both immunised against brucellosis and non-immunised, starting from 2 days of age, are given intramuscular injection of brucellin, and after 30-40 minutes – solution for injections in the dose of 4-6 ml per animal. Brucellin is administered in the dose of 2.5-3.0 ml per animal to young animals of colostrum age, with injection of brucellin in the dose of 4.5-5.0 ml per animal to adult livestock. Solution for injections is a mixture of 36.5-40% aqueous formaldehyde solution and 0.85-0.95% isotonic sodium chloride solution with ratio of weight parts of solutions: 2-6:994-998. 10-28 days after administration of the products serological analysis is carried out.
