EUROPIUM DOPED OR UNDOPED ZnO NANO PARTICLE SCINTILLATOR BASED DETECTOR

摘要

The present disclosure relates to synthesis of doped and undoped ZnO nano scintillator is done by solvothermal method. The ZnO nano particles size can be tuned according to requirements through the reactions carried out. ZnO (europium doped) nano particle will be integrated onto a transparent polymer to act as ionized particle, high energy photon detector. The device can be used for medical applications, homeland security purposes.
