The invention relates to a hydrocolloid with triglycerides and Ag-doped ZnO nanoparticles for manufacturing a sterile dressing, to a process for preparing the same and the dressing obtained thereby. The claimed hydrocolloid comprises 60.8...70.4 % paraffin oil, 4.75...5.5 % SEBS copolymer, 17.00...19.69 % sodium carboxymethylcellulose, 0.095....0.11 % phenol antioxidant, 10.45...12.1 % triglycerides and 1.9...2.2 % Ag-doped ZnO nanoparticles. The claimed process consists in mixing, in a first stage, in a mixing vessel the paraffin oil, the SEBS copolymer and the antioxidant at a temperature of 130°C for 30 minutes, afterwards, in a second stage, to the resulting mixture there is added sodium carboxymethylcellulose at a temperature of 130°C for 30 minutes, till it is perfectly homogenized, the resulting mixture is cooled down in a mixing vessel to 60°C and, in a third stage, there are introduced the triglycerides and Ag-doped ZnO nanoparticles while homogenizing for 10 minutes at 60°C. According to the invention, the sterile dressing is prepared by impregnating a net-like cotton carrier with the claimed resulting hydrocolloid.
