Provided are a molded article which is excellent in terms of anti fogging property and electrical insulating property and is suitable for use in electrical/electronic components an insulating material comprising the molded article and a method for improving the electrical insulating properties of a polyester resin composition. The molded article is obtained by molding a polyester resin composition obtained by incorporating a metal salt of a sulfonamide compound or a metal salt of a sulfonimide compound into a polyester resin that comprises 50 mass% or more poly(butylene terephthalate) in an amount of 0.001 1.0 part by mass per 100 parts by mass of the resin.
