摘要

The present disclosure is related to an autologous mesenchymal stem cells implant transduced with IGF1 in a Collagen / alginate matrix for articular cartilage regeneration. This development considers the creation of an implant under culture conditions, in which mesenchymal stem cells derived from adipose tissue are isolated, expanded and characterized to be subsequently transduced with an adenoviral vector carrying genes for the expression factor of chondrogenic growth for inducing cell differentiation. The genetically modified cells are embedded within a natural cartilage matrix mixed with alginate. In a particular and core aspect, the present invention, besides providing support for the cellular component, promotes differentiation and maturation of chondrocytes. The novel implant is implanted through a surgical procedure in the injury joint site, and fixed with surgical adhesives for promoting articular regeneration effectively, thus reconstructing the normal architecture of the hya line tissue.
