摘要

The present disclosure is related to a process for the manufacture of graphene/PET nanohybrids by an in-situ polymerization process assisted by ultrasound. This process is performed at a temperature of 200°C, which is lower than the conventional process of polyethylene terephthalate polymerization which is performed at 280°C in the presence of Bis(2-Hydroxyethyl) terephthalate monomer and graphite oxide. In this case the ultrasound promotes both the pre-polymerizing of the Bis(2-Hydroxyethyl) terephthalate as well as the hybridization of graphite oxide with the polymer. This way the concentrate of polymeric graphene-hybrid nanocomposite is obtained with polyethylene terephthalate. This process is aimed to the transformation industry of polymers, automotive, electronic, biomedical, chemical and aerospace.
