A process for mitigating the radon concentration in semi closed spaces or within walls, where no ventilation is available, no civil work can be performed or where any conventional method for mitigating radon cannot be used; this process does not require the modification of the materials of the walls, floors and ceilings, and is based on the capture of radon atoms into water molecules, which are subsequently transported to a dehumidifier located in the inner portion of said place and which purpose is to condensate the humidity into water, and then reducing the levels of radon 222Rn.
