The present invention is a hydrometallurgical process for recovering gold from refractory arsenic ores. Compared with the conventional process, this process helps to improve the recovery efficiency. This process consists of two stages: (1) once the gold concentrate (ammonium arsenide and arsenic pyridyl) is obtained, the process goes through a recovery stage, adding an oxidation reagent, and then adding a dispersion reagent through enhanced cyanidation.
