The invention relates to the hydrometallurgical process for the recovery of gold from arsenical refractory minerals, which promote a more efficient recovery in comparison to the conventional processes. This process comprises two steps: i) once the gold concentrate (arsenopyrite and arsenical pyrite) is obtained, same passes through a regrinding step, with the addition of the oxidising reagent, and subsequently through an intensive cyanidation step, with the addition of the dispersing reagent.
