A method for treating patients following the cardioembolic stroke in early rehabilitation period comprises the intravenous administration of cytoflavin in a volume of 10 mL diluted in 200 mL of physiologic saline, dropwise twice a day for 10 days in the setting the complex therapy (antiaggregants, antihypertensive agents, magnesium sulfate, neuroprotectors, calcium channel blockers).
