A stand for testing auxiliary machines of electric locomotives includes electric machine, DC generator winding and the motor winding on the same shaft. The motor winding is connected to a source of DC voltage, the generator winding is connected to the rheostat. The load of the generator is driven by a network of inverter, the output of which is connected through adjustment transformer with industrial electric AC network.
