A photography device is provided, comprising an image capturing device adapted to capture light entering the image capturing device from a field of view during an exposure time. The photography device further comprises a light source adapted to illuminate an object visible in the field of view, a first actuator adapted to move the light source in the field of view, an obscuring means adapted to obscure a portion of the field of view, and a second actuator. The second actuator is adapted to move the obscuring means such that each position of the field of view is obscured by the obscuring means for essentially an equal amount of time and such that light from the light source is prevented from directly entering the image capturing device. The object can thereby be illuminated from a location in the field of view without the light source being visible in the resulting image.
