Process for producing steel strip or steel sheet content ultra-low carbon, said method comprising: - producing a steel melt degassed under vacuum in a step of manufacturing steel comprising a treatment ladle comprising, by weight, - at most 0.003% carbon, - at most 0.004% nitrogen, - at most 0.20% phosphorus, - at most 0.020% sulfur, - and balance iron and unavoidable impurities, - in an oxygen content targeted melt the end of treatment ladle melt by measuring the content in real oxygen melt followed by addition of a suitable amount of aluminum in a form suitable to obtain the melt to bond oxygen in which the oxygen activity target figure or dissolved oxygen content of the melt at the end of treatment of the bucket is at most 80 ppm; - melt steel thus produced in a continuous casting procedure to form a sheet or strip; - wherein said process provides a sheet, strip or steel sheet content ultra-low carbon comprising: or at most 0.003% carbon, or from 0.05 to 0.35% manganese, or at most 0.004 % nitrogen, or at most 0.025% of phosphorus, or at most 0.020% sulfur, or at most 40 ppm of B, or at most 0.005% titanium, or at most 0.005% niobium, or at most 0.005% zirconium, or at most 0.005% vanadium, or a total amount of the elements copper, nickel, chromium, tin and molybdenum at most 0.10%, or at most 0.002% soluble aluminum acid, or at most 0.004 % silicon, or a total oxygen content of at most 120 ppm, oe balance iron and unavoidable impurities.
