Intact minicells as vectors for DNA transfer and gene therapy in vitro and in vivo

A composition comprising (i) intact bacterial minicells recombinant and (ii) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier therefor, wherein said minicells containing a therapeutic nucleic acid molecule and wherein said composition is free of bacterial blebs 0.2 microns or less in size.
