METHOD AND CHAMBER FOR EXPOSURE TO NON-ALLERGIC RHINITIS TRIGGER ENVIRONMENTS

The present invention is a methodand chamber for exposure of human subjects tonon- allergic rhinitis ("NAR") trigger environments.The method occurs in a NAR chamber andinvolves tests that expose subjects to environmentaltriggers known to induce NAR symptoms. Thechamber may be an enclosure capable of housingmultiple subjects, constructed to facilitate the NARtests and/or challenges and operable to create oneor more NAR environments within the chamber. Adifferent NAR environment may be required foreach test. The chamber may facilitate the creationand containment of a specific NAR environmentrelating to a NAR test and/or challenge within thechamber for a particular period of time and achieveair-flow therein whereby subjects positioned withinthe chamber may be exposed to a NAR triggerenvironment in a virtually consistent manner. NARtests and challenges may be assessed and the resultsthereof may be stored, compiled and/or reported.
