KNEE BRACE, AND SET OF OUTER LEG JOINT AND INNER LEG JOINT

There is provided a knee brace capable of correctiononly in a required angle range and of reproducing a normalscrew-home movement in a knee joint of a knee osteoarthritispatient.Outer and inner leg joints 30, 50 include first andsecond coupling means 31, 35, 51, 55 coupled at couplingportions on sides of the knee joint. The coupling portionincludes a cam groove 34, 54 in a first or second couplingmeans, a long groove 37, 57 in the second or first couplingmeans, a rotation fulcrum shaft 42, 59 of the first orsecond coupling means sliding in the long groove, and a camshaft 34, 54 of the second or first coupling means slidingin the cam groove. When flexing the knee, the rotationfulcrum shaft and the cam shaft slide in the long groove andthe cam groove and the second coupling means rotates aroundthe coupling portion with respect to the first couplingmeans to flex the outer and inner leg joints, and whenextending the outer and inner leg joints, the rotationfulcrum shaft and the cam shaft slide in the long groove andthe cam groove to move the second coupling means on theouter leg side upward and rearward and the second couplingmeans on the inner leg side downward and forward.
