The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for performing gym exercises, training and rehabilitation of muscular and articular groups, said apparatus (1) comprising: an elastic element (2) arranged such that the length (L) thereof forms a closed loop (B); two rigid handle parts (3) which are securely connected to the long elastic element and are at a distance from each other half-way along the length (L/2) of the elastic element, and arranged in such a way that they can be disassembled from said long element; and two grip parts (4) that can be subjected to compressive strain, each one being arranged so as to cover the respective handle part (3) in the form of a cover.
