The resolution conversion method comprises the following steps: acquiring a diagonal interpolation parameter matrix in a vertical direction and a diagonal interpolation parameter matrix in a horizontal direction; and according to the diagonal interpolation parameter matrix in the vertical direction and the diagonal interpolation parameter matrix in the horizontal direction, performing diagonal interpolation processing on an input signal of which the resolution is to be converted so as to acquire a target resolution signal.
