Disclosed is an antibody ELISA kit of an anti-hepatitis B virus x protein, the assay kit comprising: 1) a recombinant hepatitis B virus x protein; 2) HBx protein antibody positive and negative controls; 3) an enzyme-labeled conjugate; 4) a chromogenic substrate; and 5) a washing concentrate. The kit has a high assay sensitivity, has a short assay time, and contributes to the early diagnosis of liver cancer patients and prompt treatment, and increases the survival rate. While detecting the AFP markers, using the kit of the present invention to detect the HBx protein antibody can significantly improve the diagnostic sensitivity to liver cancer, compared to only detecting the AFP markers.
