POLYMER FILMS WITH ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY

The main purpose of this technology is the development of films made from polymer material with antioxidant and antimicrobial activity, which technology is intended for the packaging transformation sector, for use in agri-food and pharmaceutical products or other products. The main difference proposed, in comparison with the current packaging materials used today, is that this material uses an agro-industrial by-product that allows a material with antioxidant and antimicrobial capability to be obtained, also improving the mechanical properties of the polymeric material used.
