According to an electrically stimulating head-mounted display device for reducing virtual reality motion sickness, presented in the present invention, when a head-mounted display device displays an image according to a predetermined frame speed, a motion detection sensor connected to the head-mounted display device senses the facial movements of a user, and if a difference between a change in the facial movements and a change in the movements of an image is large, an electrical stimulation is provided to a contact part adjacent to the user's ear, thereby reducing the symptoms of virtual reality motion sickness of the user using the head-mounted display device.
