The present invention relates to an electrically stimulating head-mounted display device for reducing motion sickness in virtual reality, which more specifically comprises: a head-mounted display device (100) worn on the face to entirely block the view of a user to display images to the user at a predetermined first frame rate; a motion sensing sensor (200) electrically connected to the head-mounted display device (100) to sense the motion of the user face and transmit the sensed face motion information to the head-mounted display device (100); and an electrical stimulation device (300) electrically connected to the head-mounted display device (100) to provide electrical stimulation to a contact area adjacent to the ears of the user based on the sensed face motion information. According to the electrically stimulating head-mounted display device for reducing motion sickness in virtual reality provided by the present invention, when the head-mounted display device displays the images at a predetermined frame rate, the motion sensing sensor connected thereto senses the face motion of the user. If there is great difference between motion changes in the face and motion changes in the images, electrical stimulation is provided to a contact area adjacent to the ears of the user, thereby reducing virtual motion sickness of the user wearing the head-mounted display device.
