The invention relates to a port system for delivery or reception of articles, where the port system defines an opening in a partition between a hospital department and a service department. The port system includes a service port and a container, where the container has a container opening and belonging removable lid where the container's external opening brim corresponds to the internal brim of the port system's service port when the container is fixed in the service port, and a gripper for detachable mesh with the lid for separation of container and lid, such that only the container's inner becomes accessible from the hospital department via the service port.
