A load-sensitive electro-hydrostatic actuator (EHA) comprises a variable-displacement hydraulic pump (2), a symmetrical hydraulic cylinder (5), a feedback module (4), a pressure follow-up servo valve (3) and an execution mechanism (7). The symmetrical hydraulic cylinder (5) comprises a symmetrical plunger piston, and a first cylinder and a second cylinder separated by the plunger piston. The variable-displacement hydraulic pump (2) comprises an oil inlet and an oil outlet. An output end of the feedback module (4) outputs a pressure of the one of a first input end and a second input end having a larger pressure, and outputs the pressure to the execution mechanism (7). The pressure follow-up servo valve (3) is connected between the output end of the feedback module (4) and an input end of the execution mechanism (7), and is used to reduce an instant flow rate input to the input end of the execution mechanism (7). The execution mechanism (7) is used to receive an output of the feedback module (4) and generate a signal for changing an output displacement of the variable-displacement hydraulic pump (2). By controlling an output pressure of the pressure follow-up servo valve (3), the load-sensitive EHA can quantitatively adjust an output flow rate of the variable-displacement hydraulic pump (2), thus reducing heat dissipation and power consumption of an overall system.
