Disclosed is a gas foil journal bearing including a bearing housing, a journal rotated within the bearing housing according to driving of a motor, a top foil provided between the bearing housing and the journal, a bump foil provided between the bearing housing and the top foil, and a fiber member provided to be tightly attached to an inner circumferential surface of the bearing housing to alleviate impact applied to the bearing housing through the journal.
