A cell tracking correction apparatus (100) comprises: a cell tracking processing unit (130); a neighboring region image generation unit (150); a display unit (50); a user interface (40); and a positional shift correcting unit (160). The cell tracking process unit (130) tracks the position of at least one cell in each of a plurality of images obtained by time-lapse imaging. The neighboring region image generation unit (150) generates a plurality of neighboring region images containing the cell from the original images on the basis of the position of the tracked cell. The display unit (50) displays the neighboring region images. The user interface (40) accepts input of a correction amount for correcting the position of the cell in one of the neighboring region images displayed on the display unit. The positional shift correcting unit (160) corrects the position of the tracked cell corresponding to the neighboring region image according to the correction amount.
