The present invention relates to a power generating apparatus using a piezoelectric element stacked by a multilayer structure to raise power generation efficiency for space by stacking a cantilever assembly including a cantilever and a piezoelectric element by multiple layers. The power generating apparatus comprises: multiple cantilevers which have one end fixed to a fixing portion and are disposed up and down separately at a predetermined interval with elasticity; piezoelectric elements which are disposed between the cantilevers and are disposed on the upper face of the upper cantilever and the lower face of the lower cantilever to generate current by vibration; a vibration weight which is coupled to the other end of the cantilevers and has a predetermined weight; a bonding member which bonds the piezoelectric element to the cantilevers; and a coating material which is made of a thermoplastic material and is formed on surfaces of the piezoelectric element attached onto the upper face of the upper cantilever and the piezoelectric element attached onto the lower face of the lower cantilever, wherein the piezoelectric elements generate electric current by vertical vibration of the cantilevers. According to the present invention, the cantilever assembly including the piezoelectric elements and the cantilevers is stacked in multiple layers, to raise power generation efficiency for the given space.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
