A service system and method for providing a dynamic mashup service based on a service intent are disclosed. A service system includes a resource adapter for managing access to a device-specific resource, a process for the service logic performed by the resource and information about the resource, and a service intent associated with at least one of the device and the resource up unit for searching for service logic corresponding to the intent of the service and executing a process for the searched service logic or for generating a new service logic according to the service intention.
