The cosmetic composition contains 0.0001-30.0 wt% of the Lonicera coerulea var. edulis extract as an active component for the total weight of the cosmetic composition. According to the present invention, the Lonicera coerulea var. edulis extract has an MMP-1 generation inhibiting effect, a bio-collagenesis effect, a melanin generation inhibiting effect, an inflammatory cytokein expression inhibiting effect, an anti-oxidation effect, a preservative effect, a skin moisturizing effect, a skin wrinkle reducing effect, and a skin anti-aging effect, thereby providing various functional cosmetics.
