The present invention relates to a method for detecting DNA fragments formed in the DNA restoration in a cell. More specifically, the quantitative detection of DNA fragments labeled with biotin is possible by using characteristics of streptavidin which specifically binds to biotin. In comparison with an existing detection method using radioactive isotopes, the method is not confined to the application of a damage-specific antibody in particular.
