The present invention relates to a porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) mutant strain, and to a vaccine composition comprising the same as an active ingredient for preventing or treating porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome. The strain and the composition are expected to help the rapid production of attenuated virus with secured safety and efficiency, and development of various viruses as the attenuated vaccine with secured safety and efficiency in a short period of time.
