The present invention relates to a bio-concrete artificial rock manufactured by using an eco-friendly porous ceramic stone, which is used harmoniously in the natural environment, and to a manufacturing method thereof designed in such a manner that a porous ceramic stone is mixed with cement and sand in an appropriate mixture ratio to add porosity to an artificial rock, so microorganisms and plants are able to be attached and grown on the artificial rock. In the mixing of concrete, an artificial rock with strong durability is used as a replacement for aggregates and glass fibers, and then the weight of the mixture is reduced. Thus, a load carrying capacity is enhanced so the mixture is stabilized structurally and can be used on large construction facilities stably. Since a cross section and quantity of the structure is reduced, the structure can be easily constructed, and thus the overall cost is reduced. Furthermore, potential damage from the use of glass fibers can be prevented. Far-infrared radiation generated from the porous ceramic stone supports a physiological function of microorganisms, and generates thermal energy to prevent heat loss from concrete which absorbs heat and provides a cooling. Furthermore, the far-infrared radiation exhibits photoelectric properties of decomposing hazardous substances, so toxic effects of the cement are reduced, and thus harmful effects on the ecosystem can be minimized.
