The present invention relates to: a biomarker for diagnosing or prognosing nontuberculous mycobacterium infection lung disease including IFN--induced protein-10 (IP-10) or monokine induced by IFN- protein (MIG); a composition for diagnosing or prognosing nontuberculous mycobacterium infection lung disease including a formulation for detecting the existence of the biomarker; a kit for diagnosing or prognosing nontuberculous mycobacterium infection lung disease including the same composition; and a method for providing information for diagnosing or predicting nontuberculous mycobacterium infection lung disease by using the biomarker. According to the present invention, nontuberculous acid-fast bacterium, particularly Mycobacterium abscessus, complex infection lung disease can be diagnosed and an treatment effect of the disease can be predicted.
