A bistatic type target detecting apparatus for a submarine and a bistatic type target detecting method for a submarine are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is the bistatic type target detecting apparatus for a submarine, comprising an acoustic source which is launched from an armed torpedo tube of a submarine and installed inside an operating area to distinguish a location of a target submarine moving the operating area. Moreover, according to another aspect of the present invention, provided is the bistatic target detecting apparatus for a submarine, comprising active sonar which is expanded from a tail of the submarine and installed inside the operating area to distinguish the location of the target submarine moving the operating area.
