The present invention in an embodiment of the present invention relates to an apparatus for simulating coal combustion and an apparatus and method for optimizing coal combustion. The apparatus for simulating coal combustion comprises: a coal type property extracting unit extracting a coal type property by a coal type; a thermal property interpretation unit interpreting the thermal property of combustion equipment based on the operational condition of the combustion equipment and the coal type property; and a combustion interpretation unit interpreting the coal combustion of combustion equipment based on the thermal properties of the combustion equipment and the operation condition of the combustion equipment. Therefore, the apparatus for simulating coal combustion can perform combustion interpretation with a high precision and prediction accuracy by organically integrating coal type property, interpretation of a thermal property, and combustion interpretation.
