Provided are an on-line book trading supporting system and a method for direct book trading. The objective of the present invention is to enable members to perform the direct book trade by selecting a supplier and a purchaser who can be trusted by each other. The system includes: a trade support management server including a member information database storing member information, a book information database storing book information and a payment information database storing payment information; a registration module receiving at least one trade type selection among free, rental, sale and sale after rental from the supplier, and receiving trade condition and book information from the supplier; a search module providing the book information and the supplier′s member information in response to a search request of the user and waiting for user′s selection; a subscription module receiving the trade type of a book selected among the book information and transmitting a subscription application to the trade support management server; an approval module providing the member information of the user having applied for a subscription and receiving an input of acceptance or denial of the subscription application; a payment module suggesting a payment price matched with the trade conditions, receiving the payment information from the user and approving payment; and a delivery module receiving delivery information or reception confirmation of the book.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
